We are thrilled with the new functionality that the Tropics system is providing to FWCJUA authorized agencies

The Florida Workers' Compensation Joint Underwriting Association (FWCJUA), the provider of workers' compensation insurance to Florida's residual market employers, and Tropics Software Technologies, a national software company specializing in workers' compensation systems, announced today that FWCJUA has put Tropics' agency and policy administration systems into production ahead of schedule. The new software applications offer agencies an enhanced user experience when utilizing the FWCJUA's on-line portals, including a more robust web-based application submission process, on-line inquiry functionality, on-line agent-to-underwriter electronic communication and integrated document management.

"We are thrilled with the new functionality that the Tropics system is providing to FWCJUA authorized agencies," said Laura Torrence, FWCJUA's Executive Director. "The joint implementation team of both the FWCJUA and Tropics employees did an outstanding job of defining requirements, configuring the system and performing the requisite software testing to ensure that agencies would be pleased with the new application submission process. The software is very intuitive and offers agencies cutting-edge software functionality in the areas of application submission and on-line book of business inquiry. The user-friendly nature of the new system implementation continues to ensure that the FWCJUA provides top-quality service to agencies and Florida employers."

"We are very pleased with the successful implementation of Tropics at FWCJUA," said Mike Mobar, President and CEO of Tropics Software Technologies. "While it is always great to see a new system implementation be implemented ahead of schedule, I am even more pleased to have witnessed the benefits that this advanced technology will have for the FWCJUA. The FWCJUA and Tropics teams worked very closely together during this implementation and have truly done an outstanding job of ensuring that the FWCJUA has a system in place now that will enhance its ability to continue to provide an excellent experience for agencies and Florida employers."
