Reports Record First Quarter Revenue, Orders and Gross Profits

This increase is the largest first-quarter revenue gain in the company’s history.

The company, founded in 2004, reported that revenue for the first quarter of 2010 increased 52 percent and gross profit rose 35 percent, largely prompted by the office supply, cleaning supply and restaurant supply segments of its business. Repeat customer revenue also increased 75 percent over the first quarter of 2009.

Along with an increase in revenue numbers, reported that orders rose 16 percent over the first quarter of 2009, with repeat customer orders up 53 percent.

“Our biggest push was for more exposure across all marketing mediums to ensure that customers, both new and repeat, saw everywhere they were shopping for their office and online supplies,” Vice President of Marketing Jennifer DiMotta said. “From optimized PPC campaigns to more comparison shopping engines and higher email frequencies, ReStockIt has improved traffic plans in the first quarter, bringing in increased traffic and stronger revenues.”

In the last quarter, employed a new customized pricing structure which has aided in customer retention by increasing orders and the average size of orders on items like office supplies and other small business online supplies.

In addition, initiated a custom-built order profitability system that helps ensure customers get the best prices on their online supplies while minimizing warehousing costs for the company.

These changes, combined with some site modifications that improved the customer’s shopping experience, have allowed to grow at record rates and differentiate themselves from other companies who sell online supplies.
