Show Cars, Vintage Race Cars, and More at Historic Columbia Speedway

This week's RacersReunion event at Historic Columbia Speedway in Cayce, SC will include one of the Southeast's most complete car shows. The event begins Wednesday night April 14th and runs through Saturday April 17th.

NAPA Know How Parade and Car Show. After last year's successful event, RacersReunion founder and event coordinator, Jeff Gilder knew he had to kick it up a notch this year.

The second annual Love Chevrolet Columbia Speedway RacersReunion begins this week with a full schedule of feature attractions from Wednesday night Harley rally through Saturday night's main concert. Car buffs of all types will be focusing on Friday and Saturday's attractions which include the "NAPA Know How Parade and Car Show. After last year's successful event, RacersReunion founder and event coordinator, Jeff Gilder knew he had to kick it up a notch this year. "We exceeded our own expectations last year," said Gilder. "We knew we have to do something really special this year to make the event better. We learned a lot from last year's car show and made many improvements to the facility including a paved the entrance into the facility. With the NAPA Know How Car Show managed by Koss Motorsports along with our vintage race car display, we should have something for every kind of car buff out there."

On Friday April 16, at 6:30 PM The NAPA Know How Parade begins at Murray's Neighborhood Grill and heads to Historic Columbia Speedway for a fish fry and concert. Saturday is the main event with gates opening at 9 AM. The car show and vintage race cars will be displayed on the track and infield with judging and awards presentations by Koss Motorsports under the big tent at 4 PM.

Other feature attractions at this year's Love Chevrolet Columbia Speedway RacersReunion include a Thursday night chicken bog cook-off and candle walk around the track followed by a sneak preview of the upcoming motion picture, Red dirt Rising. Saturday's attractions will also include two autograph sessions with many racing legends from the past, food vendors, and a remote control race car championship event. The event concludes with a major concert beginning at 5 PM with Jay sellers and the Crew followed by country music star, Matt Dylan and ending with rock n roll icons, Nantucket.
