Joliet, IL (PRWEB) April 15, 2010
Chizmark Larson Insurance Agency has announced their new partnership with the Professional Skaters Association (PSA) to offer insurance and related programs, catered towards the specific needs of professional skaters.
"PSA is excited to begin a relationship and endorsement of the insurance products they sale," said Jim Santee, Executive Director for PSA.
Realizing the needs of self-employed figure skating coaches, Chizmark Larson reached out to the PSA to help put together a program that offers everything from life insurance, to disability programs.
As a former figure skater, and current part-time coach, Francine Larson contacted the PSA after reading an article last year in the PSA publication THE PROFESSIONAL SKATER magazine. The feature referred to the importance of life insurance for the members of the association.
"Figure skating coaches are mainly self-employed," said Francine Larson, Chizmark Larson agent. "When I saw that article, and with my passion for skating and background in finance, it struck a cord with me."
"I am still very much a part of the skating world, and, basically, when I saw the need I knew I was actually in the lucky position to be able to help fill it."
"Together the PSA and Chizmark Larson are committed to supplying easy access to the tools needed to make sure all of the PSA members are preparing for their future," Mike Larson, Chizmark Larson agent, further informed.
The PSA, organized in 1938, has grown to a current membership of over 6,000. These members include coaches, performing professionals, judges, manufacturers, officials and patrons. Also, over 100% of all U.S. Olympic and World coaches are PSA members.
Celebrating their 50th year in business, Chizmark Larson is committed to insuring the racing community from race teams to the individual driver. Also, while offering coverage to US based sanctioning bodies, promoters, and sponsors, they cover off-track storage and contents of competition vehicles, trailers, and racing equipment as well. World-wide coverage is also available for teams that compete outside of the United States.
