A veteran participant of NYC schools, Lynda Valanzano, joins EDUindex, Inc. as Account Executive to be a liaison between EDUindex and the High Schools to help interpret their Gap Reports.

EDUindex, Inc., adds Lynda Valanzano as its lead NYC Account Executive. The Education information company publishes an EDUindex, a number that represents the correlation of how a school’s curriculum matches the representative skills in the environment. EDUindex Gap Reports, accordingly, show the detail of the resultant class electives that may be offered to better motivate students. “Lynda is just the person to help parents, students, and schools interpret their EDUindex, and Gap Reports. She grew up in NYC, and her mom was a School Safety Captain. She is one of their own. We are very pleased to have her join our team,” says Gail Gessert, CEO, EDUindex.

Lynda Valanzano, born and raised in Brooklyn, brings the company knowledge of NYC metro area and experience in the NYC high school classroom. She has held teaching jobs and educational sales positions in K-12 and higher learning; and has facilitated workshops for the NYC Dept. of Education in Science laboratory instruction. Lynda has also authored numerous college and career advice columns. Lynda comments, “I am very happy about joining EDUindex. Getting a map of what is relevant for students, instead of a test, is like handing out a motivational guide for student learning. I am very confident that students, teachers, and parents will appreciate the Gap Reports.” As the NYC liaison, Lynda will help with Gap Report interpretation as well as aid in choosing Parent and Student EDUindex Champions who will help with acquiring the reports.

About EDUindex:

EDUindex, Inc. promotes relevancy in education. It is an information company not an educational testing company. The corporation has three initiatives: 1) Publish the EDUindex which is a numerical value that represents how well curriculum matches the needed skills of the environment; for schools, districts, cities, states, and regions. 2) Offer EDUindex Gap Reports to constituents (Schools, Parents, Publishers, Districts) which show the detail of what could be represented in the curriculum to increase relevancy for students, and 3) Offer the relevant curriculum that is prominently needed. EDUindex strives to help move Education in a meaningful direction reflecting the world's ever changing dynamic needs. EDUindex does not measure how well a teacher, or student, or school, or principal is doing, but rather seeks to offer them information to help meet their objectives. EDUindex offers a map to what our children need to learn for tomorrow!
