Bethesda-based WellNet Healthcare, a healthcare management company that enables businesses throughout the United States to manage and reduce their healthcare costs, announces the appointment of Barbara Tuppeny as the Director of Client Relations and Training.

Tuppeny, formerly National Director of Sales Training and Service at Reliance Standard Life Insurance, earned her B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She also completed graduate work in E-learning and instructional design at Penn State.

With more than 25 years of experience in sales, account management, training and development in the insurance industry, Tuppeny will report directly to Keith Lemer, President of WellNet Healthcare.
