“The Power Pack option for the C-250 scanner now offers customers the ability to capture larger scan volumes faster and still benefit from its small footprint, high quality output, and convenience.
Solon, OH (PRWEB) April 14, 2010
Tameran Graphic Systems, Inc., the exclusive North American distributor for Wicks & Wilson Limited’s line of aperture card scanners, announced today that it will be introducing a speed upgrade for the Wicks & Wilson C-250 Aperture Card Scanner at the upcoming 2010 AIIM International Expo and Conference. The new C-250 Power Pack designed to increase the power and productivity of the C-250 Scanstation will be available beginning at the AIIM Expo April 20-22, 2010 in Booth 2509 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Technical drawings, traditionally archived on microfilm aperture cards, can easily be converted to high quality digital images with Wicks & Wilson’s C-Series. The new C-250 Power Pack provides production-type speed in a cost-effective, tabletop aperture card scanner. The increased speed allows the C-250 to scan E-sized images 72% faster. It will be available either in its standard configuration or with the new Power Pack depending on desired output. The C-250 automatically feeds and scans up to 150 aperture cards at a time for printing or document management purposes and allows for unattended batch scanning with its auto-feed hopper and Hollerith code reader. The Power Pack can also be retrofitted to all existing C-250 scanners.
According to David E. Wise, Tameran Vice President of Sales and Marketing, “The Power Pack option for the C-250 scanner now offers customers the ability to capture larger scan volumes faster and still benefit from its small footprint, high quality output, and convenience. Existing customers can also gain from the Power Pack option since it is available for previously purchased C-250 scanners as well.”
Organizations who desire an affordable scanner that provides performance and image clarity with a surprisingly small footprint and user-friendly interface should visit Tameran in Wicks & Wilson’s booth 2509 for information and a demonstration. The Wicks & Wilson C-Drive Reference Scanner will also be featured. The C-Drive is a compact, portable aperture card scanner designed to scan one card at a time.
