Lucy Morton, ARLA President, (Association of Residential Letting Agents) recently took the opportunity to thank Lettings Agent and ARLA Level 2 Qualified Member, Sally Lawson http://www.SallyLawson.co.uk for offering her invaluable services as ARLA’s Region 3 (MAF) Members Advisory Forum Representative and Media Spokesperson.

The annual ARLA National Conference & Exhibition 2010, which recently took place in the Novotel Hotel, Hammersmith, London on Tuesday 2nd March, was attended by over 450 ARLA members http://www.arla.co.uk. It also attracted nearly 50 industry specific exhibitor stands to its accompanying exhibition, which also acted as a great stimulus for plenty of powerful and productive networking amongst the 100’s of delegates who attended.

The conference included a whole range of different keynote speakers covering a wide range of topics, from regulation, legislation, to all manner of property and lettings related issues, all designed to help the ARLA members keep abreast of what’s new, and to make sure the delegates stay ahead of their competition, in terms of having the most up-to-date industry information.

Lucy Morton said: “As President of ARLA, I’d like to personally thank Sally Lawson for all the fine work she undertakes in supporting and promoting ARLA and all that we stand for. Sally’s active involvement in both her capacity as an ARLA Region 3 Members Advisory Forum Representative & Media Spokesperson is both commendable and very much appreciated by me, and all the ARLA Council Members.”

Sally Lawson said: “It was an excellent Conference and a great opportunity to catch-up with Lucy Morton, along with Peter Bolton King the Chief Exec of NFoPP, Ian Potter ARLA’s Operations Director, plus many other ARLA agent members, both old friends and new.”

Sally continued: “Having joined ARLA in 1993, which was in their very early days, I’ve always had a passion for what ARLA stands for, so it was only natural for me to get more involved in ARLA by offering my services as their Region 3 Members Advisory Forum Representative for Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands & Worcestershire, along with being only 1 of 8 ARLA Regional Media Spokespersons. I really enjoy playing a key role in building awareness of ARLA, along with getting the message out there about ARLA’s core values. It’s been a great pleasure and a privilege to serve ARLA in this special way, and it’s always a delight to hear that Lucy and all the ARLA council members recognise those individuals who get involved in supporting ARLA’s cause. I would always reiterate Lucy’s message of encouraging more members to come forward and put their wealth of experience and expertise to good work for the benefit of both ARLA as an organisation, along with all its members, now and in the future.”
