Steve Wilson, the managing partner of Hide-Away Storage Services, LLC with headquarters in Bradenton, has been elected president of the Manatee County Community Coalition on Homelessness (http://cchomeless.com).
The Community Coalition on Homelessness (CCH) includes homeless service providers, faith based organizations, public officials and civic groups focused on helping the needs of the homeless and those in danger of becoming homeless. Last year the CCH opened the Bill Galvano One Stop Center, which provides multiple services for the homeless from one location on 17th Avenue in Bradenton.
“The research has shown that providing as many services as possible in one place for those in crisis increases the benefits of compliance with the support,” Wilson said in referring to the One Stop center.
Hide-Away Storage Services was developed by Wilson and operates 10 traditional self-storage facilities and two Mobile Storage warehouses in St. Petersburg, Ellenton, Bradenton, Sarasota, Ft. Myers and Naples, Florida. The company also provides full-service moving of household goods.
