Bakersfield, CA (PRWEB) April 16, 2010
San Joaquin Community Hospital’s Bariatric Solutions (http://www.BariatricSolutions.org) weight loss surgery center, was recently awarded 19 2009 HMR (Health Management Resources) Gold Standard Certificates of Achievement for excellence in patient care.
The certificates were awarded in categories such as greatest weight loss rates, outstanding group attendance, and best weight maintenance data.
While hundreds of clinics and programs apply for these awards each year, only a handful of top programs are ever awarded these prestigious certificates.
“These awards speak to the dedication of our team here at Bariatric Solutions,” said Sheri Seal-Bailey, director of Bariatric Solutions. “Many of our staff, including myself, have gone through our programs. We personally understand that losing weight can be challenging, but we also know that it can be done. By treating our patients with a spirit of determination and compassion, we are saving and changing lives here in Bakersfield.”
Bariatric Solutions offers a comprehensive approach to weight loss that includes in-depth lifestyle education, personal coaching, and the option of medically supervised treatment. With both in-clinic and at-home weight loss options, the clinic has serviced thousands of individuals throughout Kern County.
HMR is a national health care company. Hundreds of HMR Programs nationwide submit clinical data in these areas and only the top programs are presented with HMR Gold Standard Certificates of Achievement. Bariatric Solutions was awarded with 19 Gold Standard Certificates, among the highest of all HMR clinics in the nation. HMR recognizes programs that demonstrate excellence in performance and patient care by presenting Gold Standard Certificates annually to a select group of clinics across the nation.
