Rev. Charles Jones gives jobseekers a leg up as he presents his motivational self-help guide, Be A Self-Starter: Don’t Be A Cranking Machine, published through Xlibris. In his book, Rev. Jones expresses what he believes every person, not just jobseekers, must always strive for.
Be A Self-Starter packs practical and insightful advice on how to make it in the professional world. Taking from his father’s example and his own extensive work experience, Rev. Jones imparts important lessons on matters such as work ethics, time management, job performance, and production. As well, the reverend discusses the dividends of loving one’s job, learning how to work smart, and doing “what’s right” no matter how difficult that can become. But on top of such ideal virtues to abide by, Rev. Jones gives the highest value of being a self-starter, a quality he believes and has proven to take a person to greater heights and accomplishments.
Rev. Jones primarily addresses his wealth of advice to the industrial community; nevertheless, his book can be applied in any other job situation, as well as in fields outside the work environment such as the home, at church, and in university.
Be A Self-Starter: Don’t Be A Cranking Machine will be featured in the 2010 New Jersey Library Association Book Exhibit in Long Branch, New Jersey, which will run April 27-28, 2010. For more information, interested parties can log on to Xlibris.com.
