Clearwater, FL (PRWEB) April 16, 2010
Padgett Communications, a leader in the audience response system industry, will donate automatic response keypads for polling moviegoers at the April 17 test screening of the independent film The Troubadour. The special showing is slated for 8 p.m. at the MUVICO Baywalk 20 theatre in St. Petersburg, Florida.
The Troubadour, produced by Hannah Rose Productions in conjunction with Greyhouse Films, tells the story of Stuart Wright, a New York corporate executive who, after reaching professional and financial success through questionable means, is forced to reexamine his life as he deals with the death of his estranged father.
Using Padgett Communications wireless audience response technology, attendees at the test screening will answer several emotional assessment questions in real time. The audience questions will cover a variety of topics including character likability and overall film expectations, as well as movie-viewing demographics. The film's creators, Tim Paskert of Hannah Rose Productions and Curtis Graham of Greyhouse Films, will then use the audience response feedback to edit and position the film prior to its official premier.
"We are very excited to participate in the test screening of The Troubadour," says [Director of Business Development Lauren Traviesa]. "Padgett Communications technology will allow the film's creators to capture the audience's reaction in real time and provide invaluable feedback that will impact the film's release."
The Troubadour screening is part of the 5th Annual Sunscreen Film Festival, hosted by the St. Petersburg-Clearwater Film Society held April 14-18, 2010.
