In Oak Interactive’s first year of entering in the American Advertising Federation Award Shows they have managed to achieve another win, this time at the Tenth District in Amarillo.

It was on April 15, 2010 when the Company received a second recognition, this time the Bronze Award, for their work on the Genghis Khan micro site. The Genghis Khan micro site was a project developed for the Houston Museum of Natural Science. The micro site originally ran from February to September and was part of the “Enter His Kingdom” Campaign.

“We are very proud to win at district,” Oak Interactive CEO Moses Robles said, “in our first year of entering in the AAF Award Shows.” The AAF – Tenth District represents advertising work from Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.

The Houston based company had previously received recognition in February at the 48th AAF – Houston ADDY Award Show, where the Oak Interactive team had their first big win. They had left that night with Gold and Silver award in each hand.

The Gold ADDY was for their work on the Genghis Khan micro site, the Silver for their work on the Terra Cotta Warriors Newsletter, another project for the Museum. Robles accepted the award with Account Director David Malamud, Ad Operations Manager Gabriela Campos and Account Coordinator Dominic Dames.

We were honored to be winners in our first year of entering,” Robles said, “we have come very far.”
Additionally they walked away with two Citation of Excellence awards for their work on two other Museum projects.

Robles started the company in 2007 and brought 14 years of advertising experience along with him. Formally he was a partner at Beyond Interactive, Inc.
“We have all intentions on submitting our best creative work again next year,” Robles said, “Hopefully we’ll see similar results, if not better.”
