Winter Park is jazzing up summer again this year with the much-loved Winter Park Jazz Festival, taking place July 24-25.
The 28-year tradition will continue in the middle of downtown Winter Park at Hideway Park. With seven hours of music daily (11 a.m. - 6 p.m.), the festival boasts national, regional and local musical acts. Headliners this year include Chaka Khan, Brian Culbertson, Craig Chaquico, Dotsero, Boa & The Constrictors, Norman Brown’s Summer Storm, Boney James, Ryan Show, Hazel Miller and Jazz Del Barrio. The event also features merchandise vendors and a food/beer garden in the park.

Cost of reserved tickets are $45/day for VIP tickets and $35/day for general admission tickets; prices increase $5 on the day of the event. Tickets are available through the Winter Park-Fraser Valley Chamber of Commerce (http://www.PlayWinterPark.com) or Ticketmaster.
The Gold Circle package, priced at $100/ticket ($110 if purchased the day of the event), includes a private entrance, the closest chair seating to the stage, and all-day access to the “Stage Left” tent with lunch and two beverages. The Plaza Party package, $100 ($110 if purchased the day of the event) includes a private entrance, top-level chair seating with shade cover, all-day access to the “Stage Left” tent, access to the Plaza Complex private cash bar, and lunch in the “Stage Left” tent with two beverages.
