Boca Raton, FL. (PRWEB) April 19, 2010
Partsbase, Inc., with its principle location in Boca Raton, Florida has announced the successful BETA release of its new MRO Capabilities management tool.
The existing Partsbase repair and overhaul capability tool presently provides over 6,300 companies the ability to rapidly upload and manage their capabilities online. Partsbase, Inc. will ask a selected group of maintenance repair and overhaul clients to participate in the initial BETA release and provide critical feedback. The new capabilities management offering is a complete repair tool.
Developed with state-of-the-art technology, this system will allow MRO’s to bring essential business activities online that were once manual functions. It will provide “Market Intelligence Data” and assess current demand of advertised material, total count of generated electronic request for quotes, and industry competition within Partsbase. Companies will have the ability to upload different prices for test, repair, overhaul & exchange and may also load certifications for end user viewing. With this offering, Partsbase has created unique features such as the “Reverse Proposal” that will proactively bring new business to MRO’s and utilizes “Restriction Technology” that allows users to limit material visibility within the community. Partsbase, Inc. is expected to deliver the general release of this new MRO tool by May 1, 2010.
With over 95 million unique line items of inventory, PartsBase offers the largest neutral marketplace for buying and selling aircraft parts and overhaul/repair capabilities. The parts locators system currently processes and average of 300,000 electronic requests for quotes per month. PartsBase operates as a parts locator service, technology provider, marketing outlet, and research tool for clients in over 138 countries.
