Atlantic City, NJ (PRWEB) April 18, 2010
Following an unprecedented 3 year stint in Atlantic City, foremost John Lennon impersonator and founder Don Bellezzo joins the cast of Yesterday Beatles Tribute Show Band in Reno at Harrah’s legendary Sammy’s Showroom, named for the incomparable Sammy Davis. Jr.
In a Tribute to the most talented musical group of all time and performing songs from The Beatles Live U.S. performances on the Ed Sullivan Show, at the Hollywood Bowl and their record breaking Shea Stadium concerts, Yesterday takes the stage each Thursday through Sunday at 8:00 PM.
With identical musical instruments and pristine costumes right down to the Beatle boots, Yesterday’s look is uncanny.. Their vocals are in the original key, ‘spot on’ and unwavering in every way.
From McCartney’s ‘I’m Down’, Lennon’s ‘Dizzy Miss Lizzy”, Harrison’s ‘Roll Over Beethoven’ and the all time favorite, ‘Yellow Submarine’ sung by Yesterday’s ‘Ringo’, Bobby Potter, the show is a snap shot in time. The Beatles Rock n' Roll era has never been portrayed or sounded better.
Performing at Harrah’s with Bellezzo and Potter are Paul Sacco as Paul McCartney and Jim Lett as George Harrison. The 'four lads from Liverpool' are in the house at Harrahs and audience response in Yesterday’s magical performance has been overwhelming.
Consisting of two show bands and a touring cast, Las Vegas based Yesterday is produced by Yesterday Productions’ Barbara McKeown. Performing worldwide since 1986, they are the resident Beatles Tribute show band for Legends in Concert, Las Vegas and can be seen on video at McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas.
