“We were car guys long before we decided to create Ahwooga.com.”

“We have had a great time interacting with our potential buyers and sellers in the places they enjoy hanging out online.”

The staff at http://www.Ahwooga.com has been leveraging the strength of Social media’s to build brand awareness for their new site. Ahwooga.com is a marketplace site for vendors of Autos, Motorcycles, Boats and most other things with wheels and the parts related to them. The site went live on January 1st of this year, and with almost 30,000 listings up already, it is well ahead of projected growth numbers.

Don Wiggins, Co-Owner of the site states “We have had a great time interacting with our potential buyers and sellers in the places they enjoy hanging out online.”

Facebook and Automotive forum boards have been the main venues for targeting the brand. They have even created a new Facebook Group called "I am Ahwooga" where Motorsports enthusiast can post pictures of their vehicles. After only one week the group has over 500 members and is reaching the same in number of pictures and does not look like it is going to slow down any time soon.

Don said, "I asked Lemorris Harris, Graphic Designer for the company how he feels about this type of marketing. Lemorris told us, 'I think the biggest benefit to us is, our customers get to know us as people and not just an info@ e-mail address. We were car guys long before we decided to create http://www.Ahwooga.com .'";

The Ahwooga Guys are staying busy promoting the site across multiple social platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace and Tumbler and seem to be having fun doing so.

Don also shared that he is a big fan of the blog Mashables.com and does his best to stay original and current with the help of their articles.
