DiscountMugs.com, the leading factory-direct distributor of promotional products in the country, has now created over 1,000 videos for its products. These product videos as well as instructional videos have been featured all over the internet and have generated over 100,000 views.

The multimedia marketing project has generated over 100,000 views and allowed DiscountMugs.com to be featured on a number of video website including YouTube, MetaCafe, BlipTV, Yahoo Video and Ebaum’s World.

DiscountMugs.com, the largest web-based factory-direct distributor of promotional products in the country, recently reached a multimedia milestone of 1,000 promotional product videos created in less than four months. DiscountMugs.com started creating product videos in mid-January 2010 in an effort to increase the quality of information received by customers on their website. Along with hard facts like product dimensions, color options, imprint area size and more, they also offer one-minute long videos featuring specific product and product information. The videos are accessible on product pages through the icon that reads “View Product Video”. Each video includes a DiscountMugs.com intro, brief product description and commentary on specific product usage.

CEO Amin Rahman commented on the 1,000 video milestone accomplishment by stating, “Making this many videos significantly increases customers understanding of our products and shows our dedication to providing clients with the best possible online buying experience”. The multimedia marketing project has generated over 100,000 views and allowed DiscountMugs.com to be featured on a number of video website including YouTube, MetaCafe, BlipTV, Yahoo Video and Ebaum’s World. Rahman said “DiscountMugs.com will continue to make videos for new products and items that have not been featured in videos yet”.    

Product videos were shot by the DiscountMugs.com Video Production Department. All of the product videos featured experienced host and video editor Julie O’Neal. O’Neal also hosted dozens of instructional videos, the most popular of which included “How to Use Water-Slide Decals”, “How Pens are made” and “School Prom Ideas”. O’Neal commented on the multimedia marketing campaign by stating “Shooting both product videos and instructional videos allows DiscountMugs.com to inform their customers on crucial product information while connecting with them on a more personal level”. The most popular instructional video garnered 12,000 views and was featured on multiple video sites.

DiscountMugs.com has a YouTube Channel which holds 1,002 videos that have thus far been shot by the DiscountMugs.com Video Production Department. The DiscountMugs.com YouTube Channel also allows viewers to comment on products and instructional videos which provides “vital feedback” according to CEO Amin Rahman.
