San Diego, CA (Vocus) April 21, 2010
A gathering held by The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, known as the largest group of board-certified plastic surgeons dedicated to cosmetic, elective, or aesthetic treatment in the nation, will hold its annual symposium in Washington, DC, bringing together plastic and reconstructive surgeons from across the globe to learn about the latest advances in aesthetic enhancement. The Aesthetic Meeting 2010 will be held at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center on April 22nd through the 27th. Rosemont Media™, a plastic surgery website design and search engine marketing firm, will be at the event this year as doctors give presentations on new techniques, discuss the future of plastic surgery, and talk about new ways of communicating their message to the public.
Keith Humes, Rosemont Media's Chief Executive Officer, says this is his 10th ASAPS convention, and being able to meet with plastic surgeons from all over the world is one of the highlights of the event. “Members of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery are the absolute best at what they do. They are innovators and leaders in the field of aesthetic enhancement and are constantly striving to improve the way treatment is delivered. We want to work with the best, board-certified plastic surgeons. And these doctors are the best of the best.”
In fact, plastic surgery marketing firm Rosemont Media™ will be participating in a teaching course offered at the multi-day meeting focusing on Facebook interactions and how to take advantage of the constantly changing worlds of social media and the internet. Humes will be speaking at the Internet Marketing – Getting the Most from your Web Site panel, moderated by plastic surgeon W. Grant Stevens, MD on Sunday, April 25th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. For Humes - whose company is centered on providing unbiased, expert consulting; advanced graphic design; and search engine marketing strategies geared toward establishing plastic surgery and medical practices in their real (and virtual) communities - the chance to help professionals understand the significance of new online capabilities is a great one. “Rosemont Media™ offers the best of both worlds – a custom-built website with the benefits of a content management system. There’s nothing automated about building custom websites. We put a lot of love into it, we custom-build it by hand. And yet, we are able to give the owner of the website the ability to change, update, add, subtract, and adjust content when they see fit, without the need to go through a web administrator. It’s really an exciting time for professionals who are using the web as both a community outreach tool and as an educational resource.”
Humes says Rosemont Media™, which provides search engine marketing consulting, vendor evaluations, interactive media buying and other services, is a company that embraces the latest internet technology to give its clients a range of options. He says HD Internet video, social media platforms, and other tools can be parts of an overall strategy designed to give Rosemont Media's clients a competitive advantage in their local marketplace. In addition, Humes says the company builds custom-designed websites compatible with newer platforms such as the handheld IPhone and IPad.
Humes also says Rosemont Media™ only works with board-certified plastic surgeons, and his experiences with past ASAPS events make him excited for this year’s meeting. “It has been a pleasure to work with the ASAPS organization and the best plastic surgeons in the world. Seeing the latest advances in cosmetic and plastic surgery, and being able to discuss with surgeons how they can better educate the public on these new techniques, is always an exciting thing to be a part of.”
ASAPS founded in 1967, has 2,400 members from across the globe. This year marks the 43rd of its annual meeting. Exhibition areas will be open from Saturday, April 24th through Monday, April 26th at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center.
