SharePoint Interoperability Solution Architecture group founded to build consensus among integrators, ISVs, and customers.

Active Data Exchange, a leading provider of enterprise event calendar software, announced its participation in SISA, the SharePoint Interoperability Solution Architecture, as a charter member. Susan Yee, CEO of Active Data Exchange, has been selected to serve as VP of Communications for the SISA organization.

The mission of SISA is to build a community of Microsoft SharePoint partners, integrators and customers that can develop implementation and integration standards that will allow disparate software solutions to co-exist seamlessly in any SharePoint environment.

"I am extremely excited to serve on such a worthwhile board so that the SharePoint community can have a forum to discuss, develop and communicate how we can improve using SharePoint as the workforce destination for collaboration and productivity," said Yee.

"SISA was created to address an unmet need to get all SharePoint vendors and customers talking about some of the advantages of establishing ways for multiple applications to work together using SharePoint as an organization's single common information platform. We are fortunate to have Susan and Active Data Exchange's contributions toward this worthwhile initiative," said Danny Boulanger, CEO of Alcero, and Chairman of the SISA board.
