Social media websites have helped people with similar interests to find each other and come together like never before. A Virginia breast augmentation surgeon has recently begun taking advantage of the popularity and interactivity of social media websites such as Facebook and You Tube. Dr. Neil Zemmel has created an online community for current and prospective patients to share their experiences and learn about the results that are possible at his his Richmond, VA plastic surgery practice.

About Dr. Zemmel

A plastic surgeon specializing in breast augmentation and breast reconstruction in Richmond, VA, Dr. Neil J. Zemmel has helped many women enhance their self-confidence with beautiful, natural-looking results. Dr. Zemmel was born and raised in Norfolk and attended the Norfolk Academy Preparatory School. He graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg and then earned his doctorate degree at the renowned University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Zemmel excelled in all of his studies and earned a remarkable 98% on the United States Medical Licensing Exam.

After medical school, Dr. Zemmel completed an additional 6 years of extensive training in general and plastic surgery through a combined program at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond. He was Chief Resident in his senior year and received the prestigious S. Dawson Theogaraj Scholarship Award.

Upon competing his training, Dr. Zemmel joined the academic faculty at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. He went into private practice in Miami in 2004 and three years later moved to Richmond to open a practice in his native state.
