GSSI, Inc. (http://www.led-greenlighting.com) today announced the availability of its model LC-10D electronic photocontrol for streetlighting applications.
The LC-10D electronic photocontrol's multi-volt design offers the user the ability to operate at voltages ranging from 105 vac to 305 vac. The LC-10D further utilizes a RoHs compliant silicon sensor (without any cadmium elements) to ensure fuctional stability in a wide range of environments. It also boasts a turn on/turn off ratio of 1:1.5~4 while incorporating Lux levels that allow the user to conserve as much as 2 hours of daily electrical use.
The LC-10D electronic photocontrol is designed in compliance with ANSI C136.10-2006 and UL773. It offers an ANSI C136.10 compliant standard receptacle, a 5,000 cycle electrical life and a 10 year limited warranty.
The LC-10D's standard base configuration, along with its reliability and long life, make it a perfect replacement for the thermal and electromagnetic twist-lock photocontrols typically used with conventional street lights. These same qualities make the LC-10D ideal for today's high-end LED outdoor lighting fixtures or any other light utilizing an ANSI C136.10 standard receptacle.
