In his new position, King will oversee and manage all aspects of Enlighten's Digital Media group, which encompasses all digital media planning and buying efforts.
Prior to joining the Ann Arbor, MI-based agency, King was Director of Innovation & Investment at Saatchi & Saatchi Los Angeles and specialized in emerging media, weaving elements of social media, mobile marketing, gaming, VOD and paid search for Toyota and I Love NY, the New York State tourism account. King and his digital team’s efforts helped the automaker win Marketer of the Year, Media Client of the Year and Automotive Online Marketer of the Year honors from Advertising Age, Brandweek, MediaPost and J.D. Power and Associates in 2006.
For more than a decade in the interactive marketing industry John has amassed a rich knowledge of digital media. Prior to his work at Saatchi, he also held positions at OMD, Doner, JWT and Beyond Interactive. His past clients include State Farm, AOL, Cars.com, Hormel and Ford.
