RedVector, the leader in online continuing education for the green design and construction community, now offers 105 hours of SGBC-approved green building courses. In addition to six new interactive online courses, the new USGBC-approved green building courses include a one-hour webcast called “Sustainable Urban Design: High Speed Rail,” a presentation about one of the hottest topics in the news hosted by industry expert Emy Louie.

The latest RedVector green building courses cover sustainable design topics such as building information modeling (BIM), energy conservation in historic preservation, insulated concrete forms, sustainable lighting design, and more.

RedVector became the second provider in the nation to earn USGBC portfolio provider status in June of 2009 with its first three course approvals and has never looked back. RedVector is currently the leading provider of online sustainable design and green building courses for the Architecture, Engineering and Construction sectors, with more than 215 total hours of interactive, online, “green”-related courses.

“RedVector wants to be the premiere online sustainable design and green building course provider, and we got the ball rolling early so our clients can stay on top of their game,” says Jeff Nippes, RedVector’s Product Development Coordinator and LEED Green Associate. “We now have a total of more than 80 green building and sustainable design courses and counting, many of which are USGBC approved. We’re committed to getting new courses online and securing more approvals quickly as the industry incorporates green building practices.”
