A Value-Ridden Picture Book tells a Tale of Trust, Friendship, and Courage

Author Marilyn Randall pens a story of true friendship, trust, and courage in her new children’s book For Faithful Friends. Released through Xlibris, this tells of a turtle’s deep-seated fear of the world, and a mouse’s genuine concern for him.

Written in poetry, For Faithful Friends begins in a blackberry thicket next to a field of green, where Turtle huddled and hid from life. He has always dreamed of living on the rock near the cool, bubbling brook, but his irrational fear kept him doing just that. The thought of crossing that wide, open field caused a fear that drove him wild; no one can coax him, even his friend Mouse.

One day, however, Mouse decided that Turtle can’t possibly live this way forever. For the first time, he shared an advice which had the fearful Turtle thinking. Soon after, an unexpected incident tested Turtle’s courage and concern for others. Mouse found himself trapped in a dangerous situation, and only Turtle can save him from sure peril. Can he overcome his fear to help his only friend? For Faithful Friends tells all.

With its value-ridden story, this book is recommended for children so that they may cope with the hurtful things they might experience growing up in today’s world. For more information on For Faithful Friends, log on to Xlibris.com.
