Lorain Matthews, AIA, LEED AP of Partners Harvard Medical International (PHMI) has been selected to speak at the second annual Hospital Build Middle East Exhibition and Congress in Dubai.
Ms. Matthews is an architect and planner with extensive experience in the planning and design of facilities for health care delivery, education, and research. In her role as a Director at PHMI, she has brought her expertise in master planning, programming, and design development to projects throughout the Middle East, as well as in India and Pakistan.
Ms. Matthews will appear during the Hospital Design and Upgrade section of the Hospital Build Exhibition and Congress. Her session, entitled “Modern Health Care in an Islamic Context,” will focus on the challenges and opportunities related to the planning and design of care settings and facilities to serve a predominantly Islamic patient population.
