PerfectSoftware, a leading HR and payroll software provider, announced today the release of a new version of its Applicant Tracking System, one of the integrated talent management modules within the Perfect Human Capital Management (HCM) Suite. This latest release includes new features that further streamline recruiting and on-boarding and facilitate participation in the recruiting process by multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Among the main enhancements is an expanded career portal, which serves as the central point of contact with prospective applicants and external recruiters. Using the portal, candidates can create and maintain their profile including contact information, work experience, education, skills, references, resumes and documents, and easily apply to job postings. External recruiters can maintain their profile and submit applicants for consideration.
Beginning with an open position, HR managers can now easily create and manage venue-specific job postings, linking postings to a specific public career site, internal employee portal and/or external recruiter. HR managers can also designate hiring managers and interviewers for involvement in candidate evaluation, tracking interview feedback, notes, and skill assessments throughout the process.
Improvements were also made to the applicant review interface, making it easier to manage large applicant pools and enable quick review and selection of top candidates. Once a hiring decision has been made, HR managers can hire an applicant with the press of a button, automatically generating the new employee record within HR.
Allaway added, "Applicant Tracking and the Perfect HCM Suite provide all the functionality needed to effectively manage the entire employee lifecycle. The Applicant Tracking module is an integrated component of the Perfect HCM Suite, accessible via single sign-on. Software updates are administered remotely by PerfectSoftware so no in-house technical personnel are needed to manage the application.
