Zone Button Now with Direct Ethernet Connection

Spica’s latest time recording terminal, Zone Button, now has a direct Ethernet connection in addition to its connectivity via DOX intelligent access controllers. Thus, the utility and flexibility of Spica’s Time&Space access control and workforce management suite has been enhanced even further.

The new stand-alone variant, Zone Button SA, has a built-in Ethernet connection with PoE (Power over Ethernet) – simplifying installation and, therefore, reducing costs. So Zone Button can now be installed as a separate time registration terminal, or in order to add time registration to an existing access control point.

Furthermore, all Zone Button variants feature either an integral reader (which can be specified to be any of the leading technologies) or optionally, an external reader can be connected via Wiegand. In this way, virtually any identification technology can be utilised – including a full range of biometric technologies.
