The concept of total wellness recognizes that our every thought, word, and behavior affects our greater health and well-being. And we, in turn, are affected not only emotionally but also physically and spiritually. ~ Greg Anderson

Kate Nash and the Ventura Nia Center are delighted to be hosting a White Belt Intensive with world renown and Santa Barbara based Nia Education Trainer, Ken Gilbert. The training will take place over two weekends May 20-23 and May 28-30, 2010.
At the completion of the 50+ hours of training participants will be advanced enough to explore Nia further as an ongoing personal practice, or professionally as an instructor.
The intensive delves deeply into self-awareness through the body by joining movement and sound with community and is devoted to exploring the body, mind, emotions and spirit. Workshop host and Black Belt Nia instructor Kate Nash says, “Ken is a master teacher and trainer. I am delighted to host his next White Belt here at the Ventura Nia Center.”
“Experience well being, incredible personal growth and fitness, whatever your intention it will forge a new path to living in your body with joy and pleasure”, says instructor Ken Gilbert. All levels of experience are welcome. Attendees are invited to explore a deeper understanding of their own personal movement practice of mind-body-spirit and those involved in fitness, health and wellness as professionals are encouraged to expand their knowledge.
Daily group classes will also be available during the two intensive weekends and will be available individually or as a package to non-workshop attendees.
