Anyone can have success in the kitchen! To prove it, Success® Rice is encouraging people to submit stories about cooking obstacles for a chance to win.

We’ve all faced obstacles in our lives, both big and small. The Cooking Intervention, the latest contest from Success Rice, is reaching out to people whose largest obstacle may seem very common place: planning a great meal in the kitchen.

The challenges in serving a delicious meal may vary from person to person. One might be required to prepare a meal for a family member with severe food allergies while another may not be able to discern a whisk from a ladle. Still another could be cursed with the world’s smallest kitchen while their neighbor has a child that only eats blue foods. Whatever the case may be, Success Rice is eager to hear the details on each dilemma.

Through the Cooking Intervention, Success Rice has partnered with Aviva Goldfarb, meal-planner extraordinaire. Aviva runs The Six O’Clock Scramble, a website and subscription newsletter service which specializes in helping busy people organize healthy meals within their budget.

Participants are encouraged to visit and share their kitchen situation, or nominate a friend or family member! Three unique stories will be chosen from the entries, and those winners will receive a specialized visit from Aviva, along with a meal plan personally tailored to their situation and $500 for kitchen tools and food. Entries are accepted until 11:59 pm May 15, 2010. Winners will be announced before 11:59 pm June 15, 2010.
