ASA Programs Launches “Tweet Your Teen to Oxford” Social Media Contest

Winner Enjoys Three-Week Summer Course at Oxford University & Travels Around England

From May 3 – 31, 2010, parents of teenagers can enter Academic Study Associates’ new “Tweet Your Teen to ASA Oxford” contest, for a chance to win free admission (valued at $6,295) to a three-week session of ASA: The Oxford Experience at Oxford University in England.

To enter the “Tweet Your Teen to ASA Oxford” contest, participants must follow these steps:

1.)    Follow @asaprograms on Twitter

2.)    Tweet about “Why your high school daughter or son (grades 9-12) is the best candidate to attend ASA’s Oxford Experience this summer” in 140 characters or less

3.)    Make sure to add the #asaoxford hashtag to the end of each Tweet, in order for the Tweet submission to be eligible

ASA will select one winner to attend ASA: The Oxford Experience from July 27 – August 14, 2010. Submissions are limited to one Tweet per day for the duration of the contest. The contestants will be judged on the originality and persuasiveness of their Tweets. ASA recommends that contestants Tweet daily to maximize their chances of winning this unique study abroad experience.

Through ASA: The Oxford Experience, the contest winner will not only enjoy courses with prestigious Oxford professors and live like an undergraduate at Oxford, but they’ll also enjoy such activities as the Henley Royal Regatta, Shakespeare performances, soccer matches and high tea as well as travels to London, Stonehenge, Bath and the charming seaside town of Brighton.
