Event Management Announces Renowned Keynote Speakers XPO Attendees will Learn from the Best and Brightest in Business

The Second Annual New England XPO for Business at Boston, the largest and most comprehensive B2B networking conference in New England, has announced its distinguished line-up of 2010 keynote speakers. The XPO will take place from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM on May 18, 2010 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. The XPO, which is free to attend, will debut four premiere special events produced by national media to support business growth.

The Second Annual New England XPO for Business at Boston, the largest and most comprehensive B2B networking conference in New England, has announced its distinguished line-up of 2010 keynote speakers. The XPO will take place from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM on May 18, 2010 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.

The XPO, which is free to attend, will debut four premiere special events produced by national media to support business growth.

Special Events Include:

Boston Globe Media’s “The Future of Boston” Business Breakfast will kick-off the XPO at 7:30. The breakfast panel, which will be moderated by the Globe’s Business Editor Shirley Leung, will look at future visions of the city. Speakers will include Boston’s Mayor Thomas M. Menino; John Fish, president & CEO, Suffolk Construction; Paul Guzzi, president & CEO, Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce; Ellen Zane, president and CEO, Tufts Medical Center; Ted Kelly, chairman, president & CEO, Liberty Mutual Capital Group and Clayton Turnbull, CEO of the Waldwin Group.

Ron Insana, award-winning journalist, Senior Analyst and Commentator at CNBC and WTKK Business Reporter, will deliver a post-breakfast premiere investment seminar: How to Make a Fortune from the Biggest Bailout in U.S. History. Insana’s seminar, which is scheduled for 11:00am to 12:00pm, is presented by Boston Talks 96.9 FM-WTKK.

New England Cable News Business Reporter Peter Howe will host two live tapings of NECN’s hit show, CEO CORNER, on the XPO show floor. This unique forum provides insight into business philosophy, economic outlook and management styles of leading chief executives from New England and across the nation. During the first taping from noon until 12:30pm, Howe will be talking with Brian Schmidt, Head of Office for Google Inc. The second taping, from 2:30pm until 3pm, will feature Michael R. Fanning, Executive Vice President, U.S. Insurance Group, MassMutual. Both programs will educate viewers about the myriad issues and opportunities facing regional and national business.

Rounding out the XPO, WBZ NewsRadio 1030 will host an After-Hours Networking Event, which is slated to be the largest business mixer in state history. Join hundreds of business owners and executives from around the region for unlimited networking. Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet Anthony Silva, WBZ’s New England Business Editor & PM Drive News Anchor. XPO attendees will have an opportunity to share their small business story with Anthony with a chance to have their company profiled on-air after the event.
