The training will include topics in Security Policy & Objectives, Threat Risk Management, Security Assurance, and Security Promotion.

Curt Lewis & Associates will deliver AOSeMS training June 22-24, 2010 in Mesa, AZ (Phoenix Metroplex). Training will be conducted at the Mesa Airlines Training Center at Williams Gateway. Mesa Air Group is sponsoring this training event in partnership with CL&A. Our three day course includes effective operational security training that emphasizes the roles of Safety and Security in aviation with specific coverage of current designs of Security System in the United States. This course takes the fundamental foundations of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and applies them to an effective operators' security program. This application process of SMS foundations allows operators efficiency in incorporating security within their organization and provides a complimenting enhancement to current safety programs.

"With the imminent threats to aviation operations around the world, effective security programs and training are essential and a proactive measure to the future of aviation industry," said Curt Lewis, "we have decided to offer this course as an one day introductory course and full three day course, with emphasis on the current Design of Security Systems, the Roles of Safety and Security, and Safety Promotion within individual organizations. "It is our goal to provide this training within reasonable local areas to facilitate training based on particular operational aspects and venues."
