Bruce Jaffe To Join Glam Media As CFO And EVP, Corporate Development

Former Microsoft Corporate VP and CFO MSN and One of the Industry’s Top Financial Executives to Help Lead Glam Media’s Rapid Growth as the Leader in Display Brand Advertising

Jaffe, former Microsoft Corporate Vice President and MSN CFO, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, Corporate Development.

Jaffe brings over 20 years of diverse finance and operating experience to Glam Media, including financial management, creation and oversight of strategic alliances, building and managing joint ventures, and execution of mergers and acquisitions.

As CFO, Jaffe will be responsible for global oversight and management of corporate financial strategy, as well as corporate development.

Jaffe spent 12+ years at Microsoft through 2008, most recently as Corporate Vice President of Corporate Development, where he led more than $10 billion in global acquisitions, investments and joint ventures for companies like FAST, aQuantive, and Tellme, among more than fifty others.

Before that, Jaffe was Corporate Vice President and CFO for MSN. During that period, MSN grew into a multi-billion dollar digital advertising business generating in excess of $400 million in operating income. Jaffe oversaw finance, strategy, and business development for the $2.3 billion division across more than 30 countries. Jaffe also oversaw several joint ventures, including MSNBC, the joint venture between Microsoft and NBC Universal.

Recently, Jaffe was President of Three Point Group, LLC, where he focused on consultant services for software and digital media companies, including Glam Media. Before Microsoft, Jaffe served as Chief Operating Officer at de’Medici Systems, a healthcare software startup. He started his career at Coopers & Lybrand.

Jaffe has a BS from University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Stanford University.
