itaas provides the range of experience and expertise we look for in a development partner
Duluth, GA (PRWEB) May 4, 2010
itaas, Inc. announced today plans to launch a new application that provides Twitter™ interactive capabilities on tru2way® enabled set tops. This new interactive application brings together TV viewing and social networking with the click of a button. The Twitter™ application will be displayed at The Cable Show, May 11-13, 2010 in Los Angeles (itaas Booth 439) as well as the MyWorld area of the tradeshow floor.
The application enables customers who are already using Twitter™ on their PC or other devices to view “tweets” on TV. The consumer can simultaneously view TV and track Twitter™ responses.
The tru2way® platform allows interactive functionality on advanced set tops as well as some enabled CE devices. Bright House Networks is one of the company’s first expected deployments with the service currently being tested with a Bright House Networks internal employee group. Bright House Networks has been a leader in the commitment to deployment of tru2way® and is among the top cable operators with a large number of tru2way® set-top boxes currently in customers’ homes.
