EDUindex, Inc., a new company promoting relevant education, gets immediate Twitter following launching its Internet social media network participation

EDUindex, Inc., gets immediate Twitter following. The Education information company publishes an EDUindex, a number that represents the correlation of how a school’s curriculum matches the representative skills in the marketplace, and offers the accompanying EDUindex Gap Reports which show the detail of the resultant class electives that could be offered to better motivate students. “We are thrilled to have an immediate response from the Twitter network, being such a new company. It shows that society truly cares about relevant education,” says Lynda Valanzano, NYC Account Executive, EDUindex, Inc.

Included in the newest EDUindex Twitter followers are NYC Schools, IdealistinNYC, iteachnyc, NACAC, TopEduTweets, reflecting that the first published data by EDUindex will be from NYC High Schools. The EDUindex will be posted for NYC Public Schools in May, and the NYC Private Schools following. The top ten schools will be recognized and will be the first available schools to be offered their Gap Reports. “I sincerely hope that the information in the Gap Reports help schools focus on relevant topics of study, without diluting core classes; as well as will entice business interest in nearby High Schools. Hopefully some teachers’ jobs will be saved by supporting EDUindex Electives," comments Gail Gessert, Ph.D. , CEO, EDUindex, Inc.

About EDUindex:

EDUindex, Inc. promotes relevancy in education. It is an information company not an educational testing company. The corporation has three initiatives: 1) Publish the EDUindex which is a numerical value that represents how well curriculum matches the needed skills of the environment; for schools, districts, cities, states, and regions. 2) Offer EDUindex Gap Reports to constituents (Schools, Parents, Publishers, Districts) which show the detail of what could be represented in the curriculum to increase relevancy for students, and 3) Offer the relevant curriculum that is prominently needed in Education (A later phase of the company.) EDUindex strives to help move Education in a meaningful direction reflecting the world's ever changing dynamic needs. EDUindex does not measure how well a teacher, or student, or school, or principal is doing, but rather seeks to offer them information to help meet their objectives. EDUindex offers a map to what our children need to learn for tomorrow!
