Pangea Media Hires Senior Sales, Technology Leadership

Pangea Media (PangeaMedia.com), an online marketing company and the leading provider of quiz-based advertising solutions for advertisers and publishers, announced today that it has added two senior executives to its management team. Michael Souza, Vice President of Sales and Media, and Francis “Chip” Correra, Chief Technology Officer, have recently joined Pangea Media, each bringing many years of online and high tech leadership experience to the company.

Michael Souza, Vice President of Sales and Media, joined Pangea Media in the fourth quarter of 2009 and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales, sales operations and media operations. An online advertising veteran, under Mike’s leadership Pangea Media will continue to expand its sales and media teams and add new products to its portfolio. Prior to joining Pangea Media, Mike was General Manager and Vice President of Sales at Celtra, Inc. an on-demand mobile marketing software company. Previously Mike was Vice President of Sales at Zoom Information, a semantic search engine company. Mike also held senior leadership positions at Lycos and Terra Lycos.

Chip Correra, Pangea Media’s CTO, brings more than twenty years of experience managing all aspects of R&D, product engineering, project management and operations. Prior to Pangea Media, Chip was CTO at Spring Partners, a consumer software company. Previously Chip was CTO at Third Screen Media, an early player in the mobile advertising space that was acquired by AOL in 2007. Chip also held senior management positions at Idiom Technologies, Performaworks, Revenio, and The Clarity Group.
