Cork Catering & Special Events announced expanded wedding services to the Chicago area, with the addition of Wedding Consultant Jacqueline Tamas. Ms. Tamas joined the firm following more than a decade as an event planner and marketing professional.

Ms. Tamas has twelve years of event sales experience. Starting as an event planner for a national law firm, she was in charge of planning local events, but quickly rose to planning events nationally for the firm. After six years, Tamas was offered a position as a Wedding Planner at the esteemed Four Seasons Resort, Maui. There she fell in love with the wedding industry and began her own wedding planning company, Jackie Tamas Events. After six years and over two hundred weddings, Ms. Tamas moved back to the Midwest to join forces with Cork. Jacqueline Tamas is a magna cum laude graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College with a concentration in Marketing and Business Administration.

Ms. Tamas promises distinctive, personalized service to brides, pointing out that Cork already specializes in a range of services for intimate weddings with 20 guests, to a gathering of hundreds of families and friends.
