Niagara Falls, Ontario (PRWEB) May 6, 2010
As spring wakes up Niagara, so do many new additions to the attractions on Clifton Hill Niagara Falls that bring over 14 million visitors to the area each year. Although the main attraction, the thundering Falls themselves, have remained much the same for many millennia, the start of each new tourist season brings new dining options, unique accommodation choices, and things to do to Clifton Hill – Niagara Falls’ thrilling entertainment district.
New this year to the Clifton Hill Entertainment District is an interactive Michael Jackson exhibit at Louis Tussauds Wax Museum, including a complete stage setup and several wax figures of the King of Pop himself. Louis Tussauds also opens a new “Living Mask” souvenir shop in the lobby where visitors can have a wax bronze mask of their own face created to purchase and take home.
Over the last ten years the Clifton Hill Niagara Falls Entertainment District has been the center of fun and entertainment in Niagara Falls. Those who have not indulged in a Niagara vacation in years will be stunned by the improvements. Since the opening of the first Casino Niagara in December 1996, souvenir shops and motels in the Clifton Hill District have given way to glamorous Las Vegas-style midways and four star Clifton Hill Hotels.
Also appearing in the Clifton Hill Entertainment District in 2010 is a new “Grand Illusion” from Greg Frewin. The Las Vegas calibre magician will perform his death defying “Blades of Doom” illusion which will also be featured on his CBC television special later in the year. The stunt pits the Grand Master of Illusion against flaming blades while suspended and bound in a straight jacket.
New Clifton Hill dining options for the summer of 2010 include fresh lunch and dinner menus at the popular Tony Roma’s and Al Mac’s restaurants as well as a hot, new restaurant soon to be announced across the street from Al Mac’s, featuring Wood Oven Pizza and a variety of seasonal dishes.
