Vendors included in the “Cool Vendor” report are Innovative, Impactful and Intriguing

We consider recognition by Gartner as yet another proof point and confirmation of the many benefits that our technology provides to retailers, manufacturers and their consumers

Zavers, a leading digital incentive and information management company, is pleased to announce its inclusion in Gartner’s 2010 listing of Cool Vendors in Consumer Goods published on March 31, 2010 by Peter Bambridge and Dale Hagemeyer. Zavers was one of only five companies identified in the research company’s recent study on innovative technology and ideas within the consumer goods industry.

According to Gartner, “As the global economy recuperates, manufacturers need to differentiate themselves in order to capitalize on revenue opportunities. While technology alone isn't the answer, some new and enhanced technologies that enable business process planning can make a big difference.”

Gartner defines a cool vendor as a company that offers technologies or solutions that are: Innovative, enable users to do things they couldn't do before; Impactful, have, or will have, business impact (not just technology for the sake of technology); Intriguing, have caught Gartner's interest or curiosity in approximately the past six months.

A key finding of the Gartner report was that “improving in-store execution is a perennial area of focus and investment (for retailers and manufacturers). New capabilities in this area, along with a new fiscal budget in 2010 to pursue it, can enable improved results at the store level.”

The Zavers technology allows consumers to receive coupons through mobile and online channels and redeem them simply and quickly at the cash register. The technology is integrated with a retailer’s loyalty program, so it leverages existing equipment and processes at the cash register, thus eliminating a capital outlay and extensive training. A shopper simply swipes his or her card or provides a phone number when checking out and the coupon amount is automatically and instantly deducted. This seamless and positive user experience translates to increased loyalty and customer satisfaction, and benefits both product advertisers and retailers.

“We consider recognition by Gartner as yet another proof point and confirmation of the many benefits that our technology provides to retailers, manufacturers and their consumers,” says Thad Langford, Chief Executive Officer for Zavers.”Our goal is to enable our customers to differentiate themselves in the market and it’s gratifying that a respected research firm such as Gartner recognizes the potential of our platform and capabilities.”
