Adds UK-based digital sales house The Internet Works as well as Midwest and West Coast managers to round out international sales force

Next-generation television network today announced the expansion of its global sales team with key additions in the UK and across the US. The company has expanded its team on the West Coast, in the Midwest, the Southeast and Southwest and in London.

Chris Broadbent, a 15-year veteran of the media industry, founded The Internet Works in 2008. The company runs the sales efforts for a portfolio of market-leading Web sites across a range of sectors. Previously, Chris spent eight years at Vitesse Media Plc and at a number of leading UK publishers across a range of Web sites and magazines. Internet Works co-founder Kelvin McManus was previously Sales Director at Informa Plc, one of the worlds’ largest B2B publishing houses, where he worked across various print, event and online platforms.

Rafi Mamalian, a veteran to the advertising industry, has worked for some of the most influential technology and entertainment media companies in the U.S., including CNET, TechTV, The Onion and Accuweather. Rafi regularly speaks about the monetization of Web video at events like NATPE, Writers Guild of America conferences and Streaming Media West.

Phil Meier began his media career in an editorial role at The Onion. He quickly switched over to sales and became the first employee to monetize, leading him to receive a Webby Award in 2001. Prior to The Onion, he was the Online Sales Director for Village Voice Media and a consultant for Reed Elsevier.
