According to the Worker, Homeownership and Business Assistance Act, active, extended-duty servicemen and women can receive an additional year in which to qualify for the tax credit, meaning they must sign a contract by April 30, 2011, not 2010.

“This deadline extension presents a great opportunity for military and federal employees to purchase a new home,” explained Marion Lyttle, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Iacobucci Homes. “Our military personnel make significant sacrifices to protect those of us at home, and we believe it’s important to make sure they have access to these valuable tax credit advantages in order to fulfill their dreams of home ownership.”

The Federal Tax Credit military extension applies to those military personnel and government employees on qualified, official extended-duty services outside of the United States for at least 90 days between January 1, 2009 and April 30, 2010. Those who are required to return to the United States before completing the 90 days may also qualify for the extension.

Iacobucci Homes offers both townhome and single-family home communities where buyers can qualify for the federal tax credit program, according to Lyttle.

Victoria Estates in Egg Harbor, NJ provides classic New Jersey shore living in elegant single-family homes priced from the $270’s. Nearby Victoria Pointe in Mays Landing, NJ offers both roomy single-family home designs, priced from the $240’s and value-packed “twins” priced from the $180’s.

The Preserve at Rancocas Creek in beautiful Burlington County, features a collection of single-family homes, priced from the $260’s. “The quaint town of Pemberton exudes a country-like atmosphere while providing easy access to major roadways and recreational facilities,” Lyttle says. “Plus, we are only 10 miles from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, making this enclave ideal for service members.”

Concord Valley, in Boothwyn, PA, features 45, three bedroom, two and a half bath townhomes with three levels of living space and a one-car garage, introductory priced from the $190’s. The buildings are distinguished by elegant stone accents and interiors with spacious, open floor plans, lavish master suites and walk-in closets. “This community offers convenience and affordability to buyers,” added Lyttle.

Active adult buyers in search of resort–style living can find it at Ovations at Elk View, in West Grove, PA. Iacobucci’s 55+ lifestyle community is distinguished by seven single-family home designs ranging in size from 1,600 to 2,600 square feet. The community also offers an outdoor pool, tennis club, a putting green, and a state-of-the-art 7,100 square foot Resident clubhouse. Prices start from the $270’s.
