Morsel Munk, an online retailer of outdoor gear and other products, is a Coalition Partner of Outdoor Nation, a national initiative that empowers young people to champion the outdoors – as athletes, artists, advocates and ambassadors. Through entertainment, education, engagement and action, Outdoor Nation and its community of ‘Outsiders’ will work to dramatically increase and expand youth participation and engagement, especially among urban communities and communities of color – resulting in a healthier, more active generation.
On June 19th and 20th, Outsiders from Outdoor Nation will join together for the world’s first two-day Outdoor Youth Summit and Festival in New York City’s famed Central Park. This event will invite young people from across the country with a common mission: to champion the outdoors and start a youth-driven movement. This next American Revolution will harness the passion, energy and ideas of a new generation that is eager to influence the future and stand up for change.
Morsel Munk will sponsor one Ambassador who will represent their company’s philosophy at the summit, and more importantly lead peer youth in reengaging with the outdoors in their communities. The mission of Morsel Munk is to motivate, and equip, people of all ages to exercise their minds and bodies, and be young at heart. Emphasis is on being young at heart.
As an Ambassador at the Summit, you will help develop a national agenda, set priorities and outline strategies to champion the outdoors. This is your chance to deliver your message of change to the country as well as exchange ideas, skills and connections – building a strong Outdoor Nation for all Americans.

Ambassadors must be between the ages of 16 and 26. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a chaperone (not covered by the scholarship). The application deadline is May 20th.
