For the last 3 years beauty blogger, Shannon Nelson, has held a contest on A Girl’s Gotta Spa! (http://www.agirlsgottaspa.com/blog) seeking nominations for that one mother who has overcome adversity, accomplished amazing feats or has gone above and beyond her role as a mother with the sole mission of awarding her with one out-of-this-world beauty and fashion prize package. This year’s Mom: Get Glamorous contest is no different with brands like MONET, Crabtree & Evelyn and Redken on board.
A Girl’s Gotta Spa!’s Mom: Get Glamorous contest launches Sunday, May 9th with the entry submission deadline of May 28th at 12am EST. Previous winners include a mom who adopted her sister’s 4 children and a mom who not only battled MEN2a, but stayed strong while 2 of her 3 children battled the same disease.
“Everyday I am blessed to have the chance to work with the best brands in beauty and fashion. As a mother myself, I wanted the opportunity to give another deserving mom the greatest gift of pampering. Being a mom means being a fearless leader and sometimes it feels great just to be recognized for that. I’m so grateful to the brands who’ve partnered with me for this year’s contest and can’t wait to read all of the nominations of the amazing mothers out there,” notes Nelson.
Brands in 2010’s Mom: Get Glamorous prize package include: TRIA Beauty, Purple Lab, AVON, Philosophy, Redken, Crabtree & Evelyn, FACE atelier, neuLash, Payot Cosmetics, Carmindy, Glamorous Cosmetics, LiQWD, Zoya Nail Polish, Qtica, Fusion of Color, FSL Cosmetics, Beautyzzz, InviCible Scars, Lumene, Travertine Spa, KLEAN Bath & Body, LaLicious, Chic Canvas, PH8 by Bebe, MONET, Nagicia by Tricia Kim, Ages A Go Go Vintage and LOGO by Lori Goldstein.
