SupersonicAds, the virtual currency monetization platform for international application and game developers, is announcing the April move of their office headquarters from Israel to London. SupersonicAds plans to expand their reach with European advertisers, ad agencies and brands to bring monetization solutions to publishers with European, Latin American and Asian traffic.
Focusing on European and International traffic has turned out to be a great strategy for SupersonicAds. The company has recently completed a private equity round and has been turning a profit since Q3 2009.
SupersonicAds CEO Gil Shoham said: “Based on publisher feedback, our international monetization has outperformed other US-based competitors by on average 300-400%. An average publisher, with a 70/30 US/International traffic breakdown, will see a 50-100% uplift in worldwide revenue by integrating our service in international markets."
"We've opened our London office because of overwhelming demand from Publishers, Ad agencies and brands. We believe that introducing major brands to the virtual currency ecosystem is a huge opportunity. The virtual currency audience is young, sophisticated and trendy - the perfect fit for brands wishing to win mindshare with their target verticals."
Shoham said: “We believe that the next 12 months in virtual currency will see a significant shift away from the simple aggregation of performance marketing offers. The future is about creating new ways for brands to interact with audiences. Our goal is to meaningfully engage our players in a safe and trusted environment, increase value for our publishers, and generate valuable exposure for our advertisers.”
The Brand Response offers SupersonicAds is pioneering enable players to gain virtual currency by engaging with brands in novel ways. Players can earn currency by watching a video and sharing it on Facebook, playing a branded mini-game, or creating and sharing branded content.
A large portion of the company’s efforts is dedicated to the US market as well. Dave Westin, former VP of Sales at Gambit, heads a California-based office. The objectives of their US office are focused on publisher relationships and delivering enhanced monetization to US and international publishers (among these are IMVU, NHN, Playspan, Tagged, Small Worlds, Erepublik, XS Software, and Feerik) with international traffic inventory
