MeetingMatrix International, Inc. (http://www.meetingmatrix.com) announced that event planners who attended Meeting Professionals International Northern California Chapter’s recent Annual Technology Day received a free copy of MeetingMatrix Gold – Planners Edition and a one year subscription to Entrée..MeetingMatrix. The software lets planners use venues’ online MeetingMatrix room diagrams or create event setup diagrams in any function space. The Entrée...MeetingMatrix subscription gives planners access to over 63,000 room diagram in the MeetingMatrix library.
“I can’t thank MeetingMatrix enough,” said Matthew Schermerhorn, President-Elect, Meeting Professionals International Northern California Chapter.” This is a concrete, tangible benefit to our planner members. Everyone is familiar with MeetingMatrix software through the many venues that use it. The great thing about this version is that gives us a tool that we can use with all venues and with our clients as well.”
“We were very pleased to donate our software,” said Jmîchae:e Keller, MeetingMatrix President and CEO. “MPI is a great organization and an industry leader. However the real beneficiary of this is our venue customers. The more planners who use and become familiar with our software the better it is for venues that have invested in implementing our Certified Room Diagrams. Those planners will be more inclined to work with venues using a familiar technology that insures the success of their event.”
The conference took place on Thursday, April 22nd at the Oakland Marriott City Center in Oakland, CA. Meeting planners came together to learn more about the impact of technology in the meetings and events industry. Eight different workshops offered throughout the day focused on how to effectively connect a team of planners and their clients through cutting edge technology to increase the success of meetings.
MeetingMatrix develops and implements event planning technology solutions. Their solutions measure, diagram, and certify to ¼-inch accuracy meeting rooms at hotels and conference centers globally. Planners use MeetingMatrix software to interactively plan events online. Completed diagrams can be used in RFPs and as set up instructions. MeetingMatrix streamlines the planning process, ensuring event space compatibility, eliminating setup confusion, and reducing expensive site visits.
