Bethlehem, PA (Vocus) May 8, 2010
Lehigh Valley’s award-winning advertising and public relations agency, Spark, (http://www.sparkcreatives.com) has captured yet another accolade: its custom invitation for the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem has been awarded “finalist” status in the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) 2010 District Two ADDY® Competition, which includes the cities of New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. Spark’s winning entry is now eligible to compete for national honors.
“After winning two ‘Best of Show’ awards at the Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club in the last three years, it’s really fantastic to be recognized on a larger scale,” said Denis Aumiller, principal-art director, Spark. “We are committed to producing national-caliber work for our clients, so it’s rewarding to get recognized by our peers on that level.”
With close to 600 local ADDY winners from 175 entrants through 11 ad federations, competition to capture finalist honors from District Two of the AAF was fierce. Spark’s winning entry was bestowed upon a piece produced for the grand opening of Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem: a stunning stamped metal invitation inside an elegant embossed holder and envelope. Spark was awarded a Silver ADDY in the Collateral-Special Event Material category for its efforts.
Having achieved finalist status at the district competition, Spark will have the opportunity to compete at the 2010 AAF National ADDY competition in Orlando, Fla. National ADDY Competition winners will be announced on June 12.
The ADDY competition is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition attracting over 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.
Spark is dedicated to groundbreaking creative approaches designed to help organizations build their brands, enhance their images and improve their bottom lines.
