“More than just an opportunity to win a day of pampering for a special lady, this contest is a way for people to brag about their mom to the rest of our readers,” said Fred Harwood, SouthCoastToday.com’s managing editor for online content and new media.

Does your mom work harder than anyone you know? Does she deserve to be recognized for her awesomeness? Then enter her in our first “My Mom Deserves a Spa Day” essay contest on SouthCoastToday.com.
Site visitors can upload their essays and photos from now until noon on May 14th. After the submission deadline, readers can vote for their favorite entry May 14th at noon through May 25th at noon. At the conclusion of the contest, the photo that has amassed the most reader votes will win a spa pedicure, spa manicure and Swedish massage. Also, a photo selected by a panel of judges will win a European cleansing facial, hair styling and makeup all from Ara’s Salon, Spa and Hair Studio in Wareham.
“More than just an opportunity to win a day of pampering for a special lady, this contest is a way for people to brag about their mom to the rest of our readers,” said Fred Harwood, SouthCoastToday.com’s managing editor for online content and new media. “Plus, it’s a chance to put into words all those ways in which you appreciate your mother, but maybe never get the chance to say.”
Voting will be restricted to one vote per day per person. Entry to the contest, which is free, must be done using the upload tool on the contest page. For additional rules, visit the contest page at http://www.SouthCoastToday.com/spacontest.
