Texas Truckers Use Trailers to Promote Rising Country Star, Brian Milson

Country music artist Brian Milson, and Graham Artist Management are teaming up with Nashville-based Brand N Music Partnerships and Texas trucking company, Baldwin Distribution Services to promote his new single titled, “Saltwater Cowboy.”

The multi-state promotion began May 1 and runs through July. It is the only partnership of its kind in the nation to transform commercial trailers into “rolling billboards” exclusively for the purpose of promoting country music talent.

Greg Burns, a 20-year veteran of the radio and records industry and founder of Brand N Music Partnerships said, “My brother and I formed this enterprise to provide a whole new way for emerging country music artists to gain exposure. Our ‘Saltwater Cowboy’ advertising tour includes 8ft. x 8ft. custom designed vinyl graphic posters affixed to each side of more than 20 freight haulers that will travel throughout Texas and beyond.”

Baldwin Distribution Services in Amarillo says they never thought about using their trailers to help promote country music, but the company’s CEO, Dudley Baldwin sees huge potential. “We’re a Texas company, born and bred and we were founded on the idea that connecting with our customers and our drivers helps set us apart. And what better way to do that then help spread the word about today’s finest Texas talent.”

Brian Milson was born and raised in Odessa, Texas and attended the storied Permian High School. Brian was a member of the Permian High School Show Choir “Black Magic”, and that was really when he decided he wanted a musical career. He started singing in junior high school and it grew into a passion. At the age of 17 he picked up the guitar and learned to play.

After graduation from high school, Brian attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where he received a Bachelor’s degree in business management.

While vehicle advertising is nothing new, Burns says his company is unique. “We focus exclusively on country music artists who want to get their big break. Milson’s new release, “Saltwater Cowboy” began playing on regional radio stations in mid-April.
