ATC chose Mapcom's M4 platform for its comprehensive suite of modules, experience in migrating data from legacy mapping systems and exceptional support
Richmond, VA (Vocus) May 10, 2010
Mapcom Systems, a leading provider of Geographical Operations System (GOS) software, announced today that ATC Communications, a telephone, digital TV, and Internet services provider based in Albion, Idaho, has selected M4 Solutions as the operations solutions for their billing integration and data conversion.
The M4 Solutions software includes complete design and mapping tools, integrated work order, fiber and central office management and various support applications such as CPR integration, dispatch management and services management. The M4 software is designed to map the entire telecom plant facility from the central office to the customer structure. The software then ties each map item back to an individual database record, which is then integrated with the telephone company’s existing customer, assignment and billing records.
“ATC chose Mapcom’s M4 platform for its comprehensive suite of modules, experience in migrating data from legacy mapping systems and exceptional support,” said Jim Meyers, Operations Manager for ATC Communications. “We were looking for a platform that would allow us a painless outside plant data migration from an end of life system, add our inside plant data, work well with our billing system, was affordable and well supported. We found it with Mapcom,” Meyers added.
ATC Communications joins over 150 client locations who use M4 Solutions.
